Harare Restaurant Week

We are pleased to announce the Harare's first Restaurant Week (HRW) will take place over a nine-day period beginning Friday, 18 May and finishing on Saturday 26 May. This premier event is designed to showcase the diverse culinary experiences our city has to offer its residents and visitors.

Harare Restaurant Week is an exciting undertaking to be managed by Eat out Zimbabwe, and has developed an impressive support system in our community with entities such as; Hello Harare Magazine and Financial Gazette. Eat out Restaurant Week will promote awareness of Harare's highly talented culinary scene, giving local, regional and national food lovers the opportunity to sample the best restaurants our city has to offer.

Eat out Restaurant Week’s goal is to position Harare as one of the top dining destinations in the nation by increasing awareness of the many dining opportunities found here, as well as stimulating business and revenue for restaurants throughout the city.

Guests participating in Eat out Restaurant Week will enjoy a two or three-course set menu with a choice of starters, mains and desserts.

Restaurants will offer varied menu selections throughout the week at the following price levels: $15 per person (excludes beverages and gratuity). Again we will offer mid-priced restaurants the opportunity to add a glass of wine or other cocktail beverage, $15 price point option only, as part of their official Eat out Restaurant Week menu to increase the value perception for the guest.

Restaurant Week is a powerful marketing strategy designed to increase awareness and trial with the intention that new and lapsed guests come back again and again, giving them the opportunity to try restaurants they may never have tried before.
